i just got a 5 and a 1/2 inch auto meter tach with shift light and it doesnt fit anywhere, any ideas. pics would be great!

 

My car came with one of these when I bought it. They mounted it on the far left side of the dash, next to the base of the A-pillar. This was hard to get used to but now I like it. I've also seen them mounted on the top left corner of the windshield in Mustangs, might not work in an F-body.
