Post where to put neons in car? and ? bout wiring

umm i have the red street glow pedals, so i dont think pottin the noens under the dash will look good, i saw someone on here that attached them to the kicker panels using the screws already there! which really makes a job easy, and lights up fron and back floorboards, my question is: what size where the neons, do u have any problems kickin them or passengers screwin em up by accident, and lastly, im gonna wire them to a light up rocker switch instead of headlights or running lights, but my main question is how would i run two neon tubes off of one switch? i could run one off of it, but i dont know how to do two??? would i jus split the power wire runnin from say the courtesy lights that are a 15 fuse and put an inline fuse on one tube? or jus ssplit the power line runnin from a 25 fuse? help would be apreciated also...good brand neons??? thanx guys

You don't need to get an inline fuse. Just wrap it onto the radio fuse and you're done. For the switch, just go to autozone and get any of the switches they have there. They should all work.

i have a great idea for your wiring, first you gotta get a section of about 15 feet of 4 gauge wires, the realyl really thick strong stuff, then make a loop on one end and pull the other end through to make a lasso, tie the non-looped end around your muffler, then have a buddy drive your car down the free way with the lasso around your neck, neons are gay

Any 25v fuse should work. I have two neons on the back of the car lighting up the camaro panel (part between the tail lights). I have both of the hooked up to the cigarette lighter, so you shouldn't have a problem.

I just wanted to throw in that y'all mean 25AMP fuse. They're all 12volts.

i didn't read all the posts, but i read the first one...i have a '95 camaro with red ground affects and red inside neons. i wired all 6 neons to my cigarette lighter fuse (i believe its a 15) and that hasn't blown yet. ground affects only require 8 amps, thats why streetglow ground affects come with a fuse built into the kit.
about wiring two neons onto one switch, just go get a 16 guage (16 guage connector if you're using 18 guage wire) connector, connect the positives from both neons and another wire leading to the switch, then do the same thing with the negatives. so basicly you hvae 3 wires in a connector thats a little bigger then the wire you're using. if you need help installing them, email me and i can tell ya how to do it.

i agree neons suck, but i guess it couldnt hurt your car to bad, considering you've already focked it up with those gay *** light up pedals!

I got two license plate frames (green) from Autozone and wired them both to the switch in my ashtray. As far as wiring goes, both neons come w/ their own wires, so you just run both leads to the AUX leg of the switch and both grounds to the GND leg of the switch. then, using a semi-thick wire, connect the ground of your cig lighter to the ground of the switch and your lead of the cig lighter to the lead of the switch. I have both interior neons and my exterior neons all running off my cig lighter. The best thing is, the cig lighter has a fuse already so you don't have to worry about fuses and junk. Hope this helps, email me if you have any other q's.
