where to mount, where to mount?

in my 98 camaro im having trouble finding the right spot to mount the pioneer fm moudlator controller for xm radio. right now i have it over the little compartmen and cig lighter. it looks ok but crappy because u can tell that it is mounted over stuff. im lookin for a nice/clean looking way to mount this. my car is a manual by the way. ive tried to make some sort of plate to go over the stuff and then mount the controller on it but it never turns out very well. any suggestions appreciated.

I know of two people that have those with camaros, there really isn't any good place to mount them. They both had to put them inside the center console. Not flashy at all, some one should come out with some sort of adapter type kit.

I don't know what size you're looking at, I am not familiar with this latest technology yet, but; would it fit in the vent? I have no clue, but thought I would offer a suggestion. Just my .02

I want XM radio too but cannot think of a good place to mount. What did you come up with?
