I think people are just filling in the letters with various fillers then sanding and repainting. At least that's what I did to my front end for the camaro emblem. I think I heard someone say they did that to the camaro letters in the back though too.

you should be able to get it done for between 150 and 300.00 depending on the shop.

seems like alot but it looks really good once finished. I think I might have an extra rear sitting around here. If I can find it ill shoot you a price on the finished painted product.

ill get back to you if i find it

Sinister is right though...Berger panel's aren't black AND blanked out...they're just satin black. The Camaro letters are still there. It might look a little odd to have one panel on there black and all filled in like that...maybe I just can't picture it. If you do that though...you'll definitely need to post some pics.

The reason to do it is to put another logo there.

I got mine filled in and painted gloss black at a local paint & body shop. I don't know how much it cost alone but they charged me $400 to do that and paint my SS spoiler. (My server seems to be going really slow right now btw).

Yeah...If it were me, I wouldn't fill in the letters...no offense to SuperDave, but to me, it doesn't look right. :blah: If you want the Black Berger panel...it's just a regular valence painted satin black.

Holy *****!! I'm gonna have to totally disagree with you, iamsparc. SuperDave's Camaro is PIMPIN! That rear black panel, old style z/28 logo and black rims look great together! Very nice looking car, Dave.

Holy *****? ...I didn't say I didn't like his CAR. I like the rest of the car really well. I just don't particularly care for the tail, that's it. But everything else is fine by me! and as far as me not liking one little thing like that...I'm quirky anyways...
