I got mine from GM. Just go to your local dealer and order an SS hood grill

Well, I don't see any pics of your hood insert on your page... but I do know that Fiberglass Fabricators sells them for $30

Whatsup man,
Now I see the picture on your page so I know what you are talking about.
Yes my hood came with the insert. The insert is painted white. You can buy this insert for $30 from:

Ha ha ha they said WHAT ?

The grill snaps in and out. So it IS just for looks. You don't have to have it on at all. Yours snaps in and out too. It has lil tabs on it

I have been trying to find someone that sells a chrome/polished
grill insert for my 97' SS for 2 yrs.
I'd like one to match my billet grill, am in the process of having one made of billet alum. using the stock one as a template, but to "fin" it out, like your "odd" one.
Stoled your photo to give the maker a better idea of what im looking for.
Mine is to be the prototype for him. He also has the "Air-Vents" for the dash in 97'/02' Camaros in Billet Alum. Look Great!
If your interested in them drop me an E-Mail, I'v got a flyer for an up coming car show if you'd like to see the vents.
Anyway...Great topic.
