Jambs first then the whole exterior.

I have always said that if I were doing something I wanted show worthy, I would disassemble the car completely and hang up parts then spray the whole thing. Then that way no tape lines.

Didn't paint the engine compartment because I didn't feel the need to. Black car going to yellow... black looks good for the engine

*bows to brent*
I love that color, I'm thinking about doing the same to my black camaro, but leaving jambs, and engine bay black (and maybe black berger) but I don't want to shell out too much cash..

i wish i had a black car, cause then you can paint it any color you want. thats the reason im not painting my T/A yellow like my old camaro cause the engine compartment would be a bish. and you cant leave it white.lol

When doing a color change, if you take it anywhere reputable they will do what they did to Brent's car. That's just how it's done; otherwise it's a crappy paint job, and I doubt any shop but macco would want their name on.

you always do the cut in first then the whole exterior on a full color change. the better you want the job to turn out the more you better take apart, door handles, moldings, etc.
