Looking for new wheels for my z. Came across the american racing ones, the offset is for a corvette, is there any way to fix that?

They show 54mm offset/7.357" backspace for the 17x9.5. That is fine for a 4th Gen F-body.
They show 58mm offset/7.75" BS for the 18x10.5, and that should fit the 4th Gen OK also. If it was really a 7.75" BS, the tire will sit about 1/4" further into the wheel well than a 17x11 GS offset ZR1. But there is something wrong with their numbers. A 58mm offset on a 10.5" wide wheel would usually produce an 8.0" BS, which puts the wheel too deep in the wheel well, and will be rubbing against the inner fender. To get a 7.75" BS on a 10.5" wide wheel, the offest would have to be 51mm. Something doesn't add up with the numbers that AR shows on the website. You might want to ask them to verify the numbers they show.
If in fact the wheel does turn out to have an 8.0" BS, you could use a 1/4" spacer to move it back toward the outside, but I'm not nuts about using spacers.

well, one of the salesmen at my job called up on those, and the rep from AR said they wont fit an fbody. Also, as Chucky mentioed, the prices on those wheels START at $795 A WHEEL and go up to $1000 A WHEEL

If you call AFS, they will tell you you can't put their 17x11 wheels on a 4th Gen convertible.... they fit fine....
