17x9.5" 56mm offset

17x11" 50mm offset

They will fit just like this!

AFS sells 17x11. Several other companies do also.

any issues with running the 315's in the rear with the 11in wheel, or did you just get the 275's?

I run 315/35-17 BFG Drag Radials in the back.

NOT ALL 4th GENS ARE THE SAME.

Some people put the 17x11 50mm offset wheels on, with 315's and have no interference at all. Others find they have to:

Cut the corner off the jounce bumper bracket:

Jounce Bumper

Hammer the inner fender liners (add a little rubberized undercoat, looks better):

Hammer

Recenter the body with an adjustable panhard bar.

You may have to do none or all of those... varies extremely from car to car.

I have heard those stories before, and I am wondering if it is just better to go with the 9.5's all the way around instead of finding out they don't fit in the process? I am also wondering if my car being a vert will cause an issue?

First, I am just assuming you have a 4th Gen, since you don't have a "signature" and don't included any info.

The convertibles are no different in the wheel wells than the coupes, as far as dimensions are concerned. What is different is some additional reinforcing behind the sheetmetal on the inside of the fender liners that may make hammering a bit harder if you need large movement.

I have been involved with putting a set of real GM Grand Sport offset (50mm) 17x11's on a 30th SS Convertible, and they fit as well or better even than on my Formula coupe.
