LOL I was gonna Guess "Japaneese Made" It was gona be close enough.

Speakign of "made" what % of our cars do you think are actualy "American" Besides the design (who knows, it could ahve been designed by a Brazilian too ) lol.

I mean MOST plastic will probably say Made in Taiwan, or China. Engines for all we know could be made in Tibet, and they all came together in CANADA!!! LOL Thats my concept atleast.

I believe the J in JM has something to do with the contours of the wheel. The M might be something with construction type, but there are certain countours the wheels follow. There is a J, K, G, and a few others. That could explain the JM and the GM.

No I talked to a wheel engineer at GM. GM just means General Motors. JM means it has passed the Japanese impact test, and thus the reason you see it on all the import wheels. You won't see JM on a car not sold in Japan.

GM has suppliers design a lot of the components for the cars, which may be foreign or domestic. GM designs a lot of the car and of course does the styling. Engines are made in Michigan. Plastic parts come from a variety of US suppliers. F-cars final assembly of course was in Canada.

A lot of the wheels on GM vehicles are made in the US, actually all of them that I know who the supplier is. I didn't ask who the supplier was for F-car wheels.
