What's that body kit ^ on the Edelbrock Banner
I've searched on the internet and ebay and can't find it. Do any of you guys know what's the name and where I can get the body kit (front bumper) that is pictured on the Edelbrock Banner. It's on that red camaro on the Edelbrock banner that usually cycles up top ^ ????
Sunoco was a 1 off from GM. No remaining molds.
Dick Harrell is similar, but not the same at all.
You can't just buy the body parts, only one of the Dick Harrell Edition Camaros which cost about $60k+

I thought the car was built by GMMG for GM, then GMMG decided to make it a special edition (dick Harrel) since they liked the car so much. The difference between that and the GM performance aka sunnoco version are the fact that the GM Performance version is strictly a race car and not anything near street legal.
Nope, the Sunoco Camaro was built by GM and was made with 1 of a kind body parts. I think there was an article about it in Super Chevy magazine.
In case you're wondering, here's a truckload of unfinished Dick Harrell Camaros. You can see what body panels are replaced and tacked on. You might be surprised that the front bumper is a completely different design. It's more blunt than the LS1 bumper.

Well I found the article I read in GMHTP some years ago... The Dick harrell and No.6 car are the same design.
"GM Performance Division helped recreate the widebody kit originally seen on the Sunoco-blue/Penske show car. This Fourth Gen Camaro was designed to model Mark Donohue's famous '69 Camaro race car, which was amply displayed at the Woodward Dream Cruise a few years ago. GMMG was given exclusive rights to recreate the fiberglass and carbon fiber panels strictly for the Dick Harrell Edition Camaro only, so don't expect to see any copycats or clones"

I didn't know that detail, sorry. I just knew that although they look similar, the Number 6 Sunoco Camaro is a one-off. I didn't know the staff that made it helped created the Dick Harrell Supercars. However, the biggest difference between the cars is the nose. The Dick Harrell editions have a very blunt nose with a small lip at the bottom. This was created to flow better with the massive hood bulge (which I believe is significantly larger than the hood bulge on the Sunoco Camaro). The Sunoco Camaro, on the other hand, has an LS1 styled nose with a very large lip on the bottom.
I think the only real difference between the noses of the dick harrell cars and the sunoco camaro is how far back the grill sits in the opening. The sunoco car's grill sits much farther back than the dick harrell's giving it the impression of having a longer front lip.

Check out that picture and you'll get an idea of just how long the lip is on the Harrell cars. If it weren't for the flush grill, that lip would look twice as long.

You might be right shock6906, but I'm not sure. I'd have to see both the Sunoco Camaro and a Dick Harrell car parked next to each other to say for sure.
