Cool What are you guys doing for a hood liner?.

I just looked at my hood liner and was appaled. It is old, dingy, and is comming apart. What did you guys do about yours and where did you get it?. Thanks.

You can get mirrors to go in the place of the little openings that's what guys at ls1.com have been doing
I personally don't like it

I searched the web and all I could find was a universal Dynamat kit. I could get the stock replacement but that doesnt thrill me at all. Im hoping somebody makes a custom piece for our cars.

Why not just leave it naked? I bet your engine would sound louder?

You know I love the looks of a naked hood and wouldnt mind hearing more engine, but id worry too much about the paint fading from the heat.
A new stock liner is only $27 and im leaning that way unless somebody can chime in on this issue.

The newer cars don't have the liner,so why would the paint fade?
