Angry

Here's the website for the company that makes the kits you are talking about and yup you would have to import them from Japan and your pockets need to pretty deep. http://www.topspeed.gr.jp/index2/camaro/camaro.html.
I was actually thinking about getting the kit for 01 camaro and got in touch with the company and actually found a distributor in the states. If someone is interested let me know and I dig up the distributor's email address. He did state that the delivery times blow.

The kit is actually the BSM Type 2. The only place I know you can get it is from Startline. Do a search in this forum for BSM. I have posted about it a couple of times myself. I WILL get one.
try this

They have a distributer in California.
Let me know what you find out please.

Some of you are going in the right direction...

Step 1. Learn Japanese / Or find someone that knows it.

Step 2. Get a VISA card

Step 3. Purchase the kit direct from Japan

Business is INTERNATIONAL now you guys... although it helps to have a USA distributor, it is NOT necessary. It may or may NOT be cheaper through the distributor, because you are still going to have to:

1. Pay his markup.

2. Pay shipping to your house.

One thing that does help going through a US distributor is that you don't have to deal with international freight companies and have all the worries about the shipping duties, tranfer fees, etc. The entire body kit for an '01 camaro is 160,000 yen which is about $1280 US. I have to deal with the damn custom's people and custom's brokers daily for work and trust me it is a major pain in the @#$@#.

True, but you do have to put up with the price increase from $1280 because the distributor had to get it imported in the first place.
