since we got a thread going for the camaro, might as well have one for the bird.


I say just about all 3rd gens except the GTA

 

I like third gen T/A's as a matter of fact there isn't one body style camaro or firebird/TA that I don't like.

BTW T-T/A's were/are badass

 

Early 2nd gens & the front end of a 69 TA.

 

 

i like them all as long as they are tastefully done or left alone. If I absolutely HAD to choose. I would go with early 3rd gens, but its weird coz I love the 85+ firebirds/TAs and they are pretty much the same

 

Can't think of any that are ugly.

 

Cant think of any really. I dont care to much for the 75-76s or a lot of third gen cars. I still like the Formulas and GTAs though.

 

 

I once saw a white 4th gen Trans Am with this type of spoiler sitting on top of it's stock/optional allready large GT style spoiler. It looked like a grocery cart...

That type of spoiler should never be put on any F-body, I can't believe someone would pay money for that.

I'm pretty sure it also had Euro lights. Someone who lives in Lewisville, TX should go find it and take a picture . Not that I can give you any hint of what street the house is on except it was near a lot of Mexican salvage yards and storage centers.

This is off subject, but since I had a door to door sales job for one day... yea, I quit... I had to go to these places in Lewisville. And at one of the storage centers, looked like a place where they store semi-trucks, there was a guy who had a 1963 Sunoco Corvette Grandsport, a '69 Camaro, '78 Corvette, and a '69 Corvette. He said the Corvette Grand Sport was one of four made, I had never seen a roadster Corvette race car before, muchless a Sunoco one, so if you live in the Lewisville TX area, might wanna look around for it.

There was also a place where they were making trailer things for Semis for transporting NASCARs nearby.

 

i've never really been a fan of the 85-90 firebird and formulas...
