yeah those are hockey stick stripes, they kinda go up the front of the fender then across the side of the car. That must be the ones you're talking about.

 

yeah thats them .... what do you guys think about those stripes w/ a berger panel on a patriotic red z28? too much??? i know the berger thing has been played out but there is no one around here with it. or the hockey stripes.

Yeah they would be black. I think i might just try and find a back panel right now. ebay here i come.

 

They're just painted, paint yours. This is a small enough area you could do it with a spray can.

 

It's always a good idea to buy a new panel and paint it. That way if you ever decide to return your car to the stock look you don't have to pay to have the panel paint matched and re-shot all over again.

What's $90-$100? It's worth getting the 2nd panel.

 

Return it BACK to stock. The thought never crossed my mind!!!

 

FWIW, I think hockey stripes are ugly.

Nah, not really. I prefer horsepower badging on the side of the hood scoop like on the Berger SS.
