I used G2 brush on paint that I got it on line through Serious Auto, a Mazda Miata aftermarket outfit in Nor Cal. It was a little pricey but well worth the expense. $42.00 for a 4 oz can. It is a paint that you mix with a catalyst. There is actually enough for 2 complete sets of calipers. It doesn't look like it when you see the size of the can but believe me there is plenty. You can paint them on the rotors or drop them off of the rotors. I dropped them off so that I could get to all the nooks and crannies on the back sides. If you split the paint and catalyst you can split the cost with someone else that would like to do the same thing. I painted the calipers red and the brackets black. Just like the Corvettes. If I may suggest, get the silver CAMARO stickers for the front calipers. It looks BAD!! They can be purchased on line through Afterthoughts. By the way, the uncured paint is easily cleaned up with MEK, something that they do not tell you. The paint is very durable, is said to be guaranteed not to fade chip or peel, was recommended by the guys at the local Chevy dealership, covers amazingly and IMO is the next best thing to powder coat. The completed job looks just like powder coat. You can see what it looks like on the Afterthoughts website.
Good luck

Sorry about hittin the send reply button twice. That Afterthoughts website is Afterthoughtsauto.com; Serious Auto is, of all things, Seriousauto.com. I have been very happy with their service.
The brush on application takes a little more time but, here again, the results, I feel, are worth it. No overspray concerns and a lot less masking. I used the supplied brush and some inexpensive hobby brushes for fine work. (don't forget the MEK if you happen to get a little sloppy and be very carefull not to get the MEK on the car's paint cause it is some pretty potent stuff)

Hey So Cal Dude, check it out (if it isn't too late). Heck, check it out anyway. www.bfranker.badz28.com and LS1.com forum under their appearance section dated 10-08-2002 re your request for info. Should give you some options and good pictures.
Good luck and have fun.

I just used straight off the shelf car paint - $1.99 a can and sprayed the calipers while on the car - I do a cleanup/touch up each spring to freshen it but my can has now lasted me 4 yaers.
