Blech, that'd be way too much black. Especially if you don't leave the lips of the wheels silver.

No, his aren't the 10 spoke SS wheels, but they are all black on a black car, and it just looks boring. There's no point in getting nice wheels and painting them all black in my opinion. You can't even see them.

One of the best looking hoods out there. Its the hood that I have been looking at for a few months now and that I am going to get if I dont sell my car

I think the 35th Anniversary wheels' look is about the best you can get with black. Solid black and a chrome ring doesn't work on everything. Black Grandsport wheels are sometimes pretty good looking.

I found this car in one of my searches yesterday. I really like the way these wheels look:

I'm not sure what those are. Any ideas? I thought Fikse, but I'm pretty sure they aren't. The seller of the car did not say.

American Racing Rebels. Rich (Bayer-Z28) has them on his car in all-chrome.

My vote for hoods on an LT1 are the Harwood 2.5in, the Sunoco Cowl, or the Ultra Z. The car has to be done right to look good with the Ultra Z though. I like the SS hood, but it's way over done on ALL camaros.

I also have the "Big Block/Sting Ray" Hood. I was the first one in San Jose, California. Now everyone has it

I was leaning towards the ultra z hood from here:

http://rpmspeed.com/product_info.php...products_id=28

however for the same price you could get an SS reproduction hood and a spoiler...decisions, decisions.

So who makes the best SS style hood?

http://www.suncoastramairhoods.com/e...?productID=286
the above one looks legit and has a hole for ram air

http://www.lmperformance.com/19116/2.html
this one is much cheaper but no chance for ram air

I realize most of us have cold air intakes and wouldnt want to trade for a ram air, but I think it would be nice to have an extra cooling source.

that VFN sunoco is really nice but I dont like where it ends near the winshield, I feel like that is on the only flaw on an otherwise perfect hood. I think it looks better on LS1 cars which have more rounded lines than our straight edged mid 90's design. however still looks good bro, nicely done.
