Jeez, I must be the only guy around that likes the plain Z28 hood best.

Then again, I'm a fan of the sleeper look....

I have a Harwood 3" Cowl hood on my car, and after viewing the pictures in this thread, my opinion of them is and will stay in the crapper.

My Harwood hood was found to be warped and even with talking to them over the phone, I've yet to be offered a replacement or a refund. Jegs can bite me on this one too because they're who I ordered from.

I'll be putting the stock hood or an Ultra Z hood on my car in June.

Im really thinking about just keeping the stock hood. I really like the SS hoods, but cant find one for a reasonable price. Guess I will just keep looking until I can find one used. $500+ for some fiberglass is ridiculous in my opinion, and then you have to get it painted.

I would rather take that money and put it towards suspension upgrades and boltons.

I am pretty broke, but even if I had fifty grand to spend on the car, the only visual change I'd make is to lower it a little.

There is a disappointingly small number of 4th gen Camaros in my town. Most of the ones we do have here are V6s. There are a couple SSes and a couple Z28s, including one other NBM Z28. Only one visual difference between that car and mine from the factory -- mine came with polished wheels; his are brushed.

The previous owner of my car installed a Corsa exhaust (), and between the Corsa tips and the wheels I put on last fall, mine looks as unique as I care to get. Remaining mods will be focused on driver/passenger comfort and amenities (seats, stereo, etc) and, more importantly, blowing everyone's doors off.

If you put that spoiler on, this board will disown you.

If someone who actually owns an SS could point out which of those cars has the stock SS hood and which car has some other kind, I would appreciate that, because I don't know without wasting a lot of time researching
far left is an SLP SS the far right is RKSports wannabe hood. Stay the hell away from RKSport. I have their hood and its a big pile of sh** They would not even help out to fix it.

Do you have any pics of the hood? I am just asking b/c I also have the Harwood 2.5'' cowl and I like it alot but it did take some work to fit properly, and even now it's not 100% perfect...

That looks like the Harwood 2 1/2 inch cowl hood like I have.
4thGenZ posted better pics of it in this thread.
