Its all up to you if you think you like it or think it looks good go for it. Its not ricey. Is it a banner or an eyebrow? If its an eyebrow just DON"T cover half the windsheild. I have a banner. Installing can be little hassle though.

Some can be tastefully done IMO.
I've seen a couple that are just too big though......

most of them look stupid imop. you can pull some off tastefully as pandamonkey said, personally i think the best looking ones are the plain old tinted ones, just to give it a little bit of a new look but nothing out of place.

I don't like them, but yes, if done cleanly they could look good. And they kinda obstruct your view. Well, you shouldn't be looking at the sky anyways but you know, it's there and you keep looking at it like it doesn't belong. Not sure how to say it. It grabs your attention when driving, until you get used to it...

I haven't put one on my camaro...and I probably won't...but not because I don't like them. I had a Dodge Dakota SS a couple years ago...it was red with white racing stripes. It had a white DODGE banner on the windshield. There was something about the white stripes and the white banner combination that just looked awesome! EVERYONE liked it. I would encourage ANYONE with racing stripes to get a banner in the exact same color of the stripes...it just looks good. Plain and simple.

Oh yeah... i have a pic of that truck at the bottom of this page, or on page 4 of the link in my sig.

EDIT: I just looked at that pic...and unfortunately due to the glare that day when I took the pic...the banner really doesn't show up...but you'll get the idea anyways.

Yeah, I'll have silver accents on my bright green Z, and am thinking about getting a silver "SLP performance" or "SLP engineering" banner.

It's not all that big, and I think it'll look good with the whole green/silver thing

Um... when I drive I never see the banner. I forget it's even there. The only time I can see it from inside while sitting is if I duck foward and look up.

I could take 'em or leave 'em. IMO, they neither compliment the car nor detract from the car.

But, I personally have a VERY big problem being a free rolling billboard advertisement for some such company or manufacturer in the form of a windshield banner. I find it rather silly. (SLP, TYBRNE, Thunder, ect)

Why pay someone to let me advertise their company for free?
I just don't get it.
