I got my TransAm a month ago. I LOVE it! But, I really wish there was something I could do to make it unique-(but still nice looking) as far as APPEARANCE goes.
For instance, my boyfriend has a red z28. He got black stripes on it and it looks awesome. I think I've seen a total of like 4 other paint jobs like that on a Camaro around-lately. His car is awesome-and it looks unique-and it looks like someone really cares about it. I wanted to do something cool to mine (and hopefully have the same effect), but I think we both agreed that it wouldn't look right with stripes down the front. (I am sorry I don't have a pic of my car to load, but you prob know what it looks like.) Obviously, I'd get a to-die-for-paint job if I had $5K, but I don't-not at all. Any opinions/ suggestions?

 

Well one thing you can do, and you don't have to wait for your BF, is to detail it, clean and wax. After market wheels seems to obvious to mention. I know it's fallen out of favor lately, but a well pin striped car can look very good and doesn't cost an arm or a leg.

Go to some shows and look at what the customizers are doing. Start making mental notes of what you like and don't like.

Some people on this board will "Photo Shop" idea's for you.

(you beat me to it) start waxing, get some Zaino or whatever. that would be outta this world, for me to see a woman waxing her car. and get a nice sound system; tinted windows.

I dunno what else. but I niclean car with a nice tint always looks nice to me.
