What did you use to fill up the space with an LS1 console swap?

ok converting my 94 z28 from an auto to a manual and havent had great luck finding a shift plate yet. i have one tracked down as well as an LS1 center console. i like the looks of the ls1 console better but i need something to fill the space. gauges are going on the a pillar as they are easier to read there IMO so that idea is out. one thread i found in the search i did said that many people have used something from a mustang to fill it in but the links didnt work. any ideas what that is?

I am either going to put a couple of gauges in that area or designate it my "NO2 command center", if I ever get around to doing the conversion. I think most people are using Auto Meters Gauge Cage for 87-93 mustangs. Summit carries them.

Part #'s.
ATM-50101 Dual Gauge cage with bypass vents
ATM-50102 Dual Gauge cage without bypass vents
ATM-50100 Triple Gauge Cage.

But I don't know what people are using that don't want gauges down there. I guess they are making something either out of plastic, fiberglass or carbon fiber.
