what color are your brake calipers?

Every car that I have seen has red calipers. And it looks realy good. But it seems like red is the "safe" color to go with. I was looking at www.wheelskin.com and I think the blue looks good to. When I asked my friend what color he liked he said to go with red because I dont have any other blue on the car. But I dont have any other red on the car ether. so I turn to the internet for answers. what do you guys think, blue or red? or any other color for that matter. If you have any pics that would be cool to.

Thanx.

I have black with "camaro" brake caliper decals and my friends SS is the same

I wouldn't waste your money on that paint kit I just used duplicolor engine paint it's ceramic based and it worked fine
only cost 10 bucks for one can of black and one can of clear
and I still have alot left over too
brake caliper decals cost 20 bucks.
So 30 dollars in all

I get a parts magazine for Porsches called Tweeks, and they have an on-car, brush-on paint. Its like 20 bucks and comes with any color you want, along with the clear coating stuff. I still need to order some of it.

The magazine is put out by the same people that put out midamerica for vettes. Might wanna check it out, its a free subscrpition.

instead of painting them...what about polishing them...? I might be a little partial, I mean painted looks good, but polished looks great and different...Here are a few pics of a couple of sets that I have done...

This is the first set I ever did, they are still on my car. They basically suck compared to any of the newer ones I have done....

Another set for a SS

Another Camaro set...

Possibly the best looking set for a WS6 Trans Am...

It doesnt really take too long once you get to know what you are doing. I end up doing all 4 calipers, and just paint the bracket whatever color the guys want.
