That has to be the best stock color EVER offered on an Fbody. Could you order a Camaro with the same color? Is it rare, because I have never seen another Trans Am or Camaro painted that color.

 

I just saw that car on ebay last night... Yeah its a nice color. Dunno what the color is though.

 

Pretty sure its burgundy.

 

Trans Am/Firebirds= Maple Red Metallic
Camaro= Monteray Maroon .

It is a REALLY cool color , that was only offered on the 2000-2002 f-bods on every model but the SS's and WS.6's .

 

I'd rather know what polish they used on it.

 

I agree, its a VERY nice color. I've never really liked bright reds.

 

anybody notice the camaro radio in the t/a? that means it will light up blue rather then red but the color is great.

 

I hate stupid eBay sellers, they say it's a manual, then scroll down in vehicle description and it says its a a4 automatic. Luckily you can tell from the photos it's a manual.

 

Pretty nice car, but I notice that it's dripping armor-all everywhere. I've burned out on having everything in the interior oily-looking, especially the steering wheel. However, it is nice in all other respects. With the LG air lid on there, it was a car that had a driver who liked to slip 'er some throttle once & a while. When did they start outfitting the LS1 with a better clutch? Was it 2000 or 2002?
