Hey, I've looked into Simmons wheels before. I think that this is their base finish for wheels. They aren't polished, but you can get them polished. Its just some kind of grey paint or powder coating. They look good though. Kinesis wheels also have a rim similar to this and in the same or similar color.

they are powdercoated, and it's not their standard finish, this one is darker, and has more of a steel/metallic look to it then their standard finish. Their standard finish is similar to that on an SS wheel.
