At first I was going to paint my car black and white pearl with purple flakes. I have basically given up on the all pearl with purple flake idea, to much money to use as a Daily Driver. So now I have few options. I can either repaint the car arctic white/black (original color) or I can paint it a different color. Some of the colors I have been looking at are colors like Arrival Blue, the 2004 Chevrolet Lemans special edition corvette blue, Victory Red, and just plain old arctic white. So what colors do you think would look good on an early model Camaro? Please no 10K paint job ideas, like said this will be a daily driver.

 

Of course, I'm gonna say black. Nothing beats a shiney clean black car with polished rims IMO. But it's a b!tch to keep clean.

What color is the top? Black or white?

Personally, I think your car looks nice and clean in white so I'd stick with that. And sticking with the same color should definitely reduce the $$$ you have to spend. But I would just add a few accents like black CAMARO inserts in the rear to match your Z badges. And I think (AND THIS IS JUST MY OPINION ON THIS!), a set of hockey stick stripes (black) would look sweeeet as hell on it. Maybe clear corners too..... You should be able to get all of that done for a good price.

I'd stick with white, and maybe get a SS hood and some sort of stripe, two red stripes that go around the air scoop, then pick up on the back of the car. If you go with a stripe, get it painted on, instead of vinyled on. I'd also paint my headlights white and paint the grill white and have a nice red bowtie up there too.

If you wanted to be really wild, go with sunset orange metallic, or some custom shade of orange. I think that orange has to be a metallic to look good, it can't be a solid color like hugger orange.
