I just got a pewter 02 TA and was thinking about either putting a hood bird or stripes on it and can't figure out what color would look good on it. Does anyone have any pictures of pewter cars with graphics on them or any suggestions? I was thinking either black or a light silver.

Black and Silver came to mind to me when reading too...

I think I'd go for Silver though... It'd be subtle against the pewter, and could look very nice, IMO!

 

Dark silver/gunmetal

 

Silver is my favorite on Pewter.

Gunmetal Gray would look good as well though like AW suggested.

 

All of the above would look good. Don't be afraid to do something louder... I liked red with my pewter...I've seen orange and even purple...both looked good...

I'll second orange too just as long as it isn't too much maybe some accents like on the side of the ram air hood and some emblems and rear bird oh in hugger orange of course

 

i think blue would be a good contrast to the pewter

 

I've always liked NBM with pewter.

 

i think that silver would look nice, but some accents of hugger orange would look killer in my own opinion!

 

Black 35th ann. stripes would look badass on pewter

We have someone in our club with black stripes on his pewter bird, and it looks pretty sweet
