What color black paint will match the dash on a 93-96 camaro?
What color black paint will match the dash on a 93-96 camaro?
I'm thinking about painting some interior parts to match the black used on the 93-96 dash. The part that goes around the gauges and has the two A/C vents mounted in it. I assume a flat black would work but has anyone used a certain brand or color that matches the factory color. I don't want to paint one piece then end up painting my whole interior so all the pieces match. Thanks

Find a local store that deals with automotive paints . Not like pep boys , or auto zone .....but a place that deals with or supplies automotive paints like Dupont or PPG ect. They should have(mine does) a color code catalog that lists all the manufacturers various interior colors per model year . For yours , you would look under 95 model year and chevy and it should show all the various shades of black used in 95 on chevy interiors . Unfortunatly it doesnt break it down into specific models . Flat black wouldnt work very well and look very outa place . They should beable to mix a black interior dye to match what u want with a Satin ( low shine or luster but not flat ) finish .

There is a parts house in my town that can take a pic of the color of something and make paint to match. They can put it in spray cans for you to, but i'm not sure if they have interior paints. Its just sometimes their spray cans suck and then it starts spitting all over the place and you end up having to sand it off. So i was hoping to find a name brand product that would work. I guess i'll just have to go down there.
