I bought my 99 v6 used and the person who had it before me had it painted electric or shelby blue (whatever u want to call it) the original color is hugger orange

Depends, if the engine bay and door jams are still hugger orange then I would repaint it hugger orange. That would be real tacky looking to have electric blue paint and then open your doors and its hugger orange right there. However if the guy had a really nice paint job and complete stripped the car when he had it repainted then I would just leave it.
