What can I do to my hood?

I have a black SS and I would like to do some kind of stripes or something. I do not think the stripes over the hood and rear spoiler in red looks very good on a black car. I would want to do something in red to match the SS outline. Any ideas or pictures?

You could do 35th Ann stripes.

I think that looks good the red and black together.

Im not sure if my signature and link work but I just painted my Black SS hood with a red scoop and posted the pics on my site.

Although it doesnt have clearcoat on it yet it will give you the idea. I have since clear coated it and am in the middle of compounding and polishing it. But I dont have pics of that yet.

The picture Brent put up looks awesome, but its either vinyl or VERY VERY expensive. Id rather have nice flush paint sprayed.

I agree. You don't see that nearly as much as you do the 35th anniversary stripes.

Paint the scoop in a contrasting color like white, red, yellow or silver....maybe add a decal with your engine on it too
