Thumbs down WARNING on wheel product

Sorry to slam a product, but everyone needs to know NOT TO USE WESLEY'S WHEEL CLEANER! I guess it uses the same "bleach" as their Wesley's Bleech White which works great for detailing engines, but their wheel cleaner stripped any clear coating off of my factory rims and has permanent "drip" marks stained on them as well. I planned on getting new rims regardless, but know that this is a piece of **** product. again, sorry to slam, but my lesson is learned

What finish are your wheels?

This happened to me on some AMG Mercedes wheels. I had to use a buffer just to get that **** out. They were polished btw.

Did the back of the bottle said it was fine for clear coated wheels?

I believe one of the key words here is "Uncoated" or "Polished". At work, we have most expensive Porsche wheels that we can use our wheel chemicals on, but there are a certain few that are uncoated or polished bare metal that we cannot touch with this cleaner or it will do exactly as you asy, it "burns" the cleaner into the metal, and the best way I get this off is to use Mother Mag and Aluminum Polish and work at it. I've take up to an hour per wheel doing this but they look brand new when i get done, and it beats having to pay for a $1500 wheel.
