Viper GTS-R Headlights would fit into '93-'97?
I was looking at the picture that is on my background (sorry, I am a true 100% GM fan, but this car is pretty nice
) and got to thinking. There is no reason why that exact style of headlight/housing wouldn't fit the '93-'97. Here is another pic, and another. They are almost the exact shape, and with a little body work, I bet they could be blended in to look perfect. They are also projectors, which I think is favored by most.
This is basically just a dream, but I thought I would share it none the less. Too bad it is just a concept and you probably can't even get remotely close to finding housings like that.

ha ha those main headlights actually look like the hella housings cleanly installed to me... I wouldn't be surprised if they were...
There are alot of headlight housings that will ALMOST fit onto a 93-97... any of them could be modified to fit... but it would be alot of hard custom work.

I really dont see the similarities. The high beams for instance look flat on the bottom, whereas the hella ones are totally round. And the low beams look like the glass lens sits out more than the hella. I bet they would fit, but I also bet that buying Viper GTS lights would be like buying a genuine SS hood from a Chevy dealer - the best quality, but there are look alike alternatives for 1/10th the price.

You can tell that the low beams are molded into the edge on the corner. The rest of the circle is just not visible. Look at the distinct middle on those high beams.
It is highly probable, since high end ferrari's are even equipped with Hella 90mm's.

you probably could make it fit. It just depends on how much work it will take to blend it all in but I think it would look pretty good. Perhaps you should think about the previous generation Viper headlights.
I never said I was gonna do it
I just said it could be done...they are pretty similar in shape and size to the openings on the '93-'97.
Aside from the fact that it would cost mucho $$$ for the housings, I would rather spend that much time in bodywork on other vehicles.
I agree with purenrg though - I wouldn't doubt that they are the Hella's, that was what I thought at first...
