Valve Covers?

DOes anyone know what kind of valve covers bolt on to stock LT1 heads? I was the flamed ones by Billet Specialties, but they have so many and different heights, I dont know what one to get? Some help would be great

Re: Valve Covers?

Just make sure there for an LT-1 f-body and not for a vette, or you'll be using a hammer on those babies to get the alternator to fit over top.

I just bought the cheap $45 chrome ones and tapped the corner in and the alternator covered it all, didn't even crack the chrome.

Re: Valve Covers?

I once read a guide on removing a nub off the alternator to mkae other valve covers fit. there is also a alternator relocation kit avilable so that you can use tall valve covers.

Re: Valve Covers?

A friend of mine bought aluminum valve covers and they needed to be cut and rewelded, which really suck.

Summit has those new ones by Billet Specialties, and I was wondering if any of them fit on my car?
