Trans Am People

I bought a ram air hood from harwood last year, but it does not come with the grill inserts. I called them but they do not make any.

Does anyone know where to pick up a couple?
I called one place but they wanted like $80.00 + shippping and tax

Those of you that have made your own, can you let me know the details of doing this myself?

Thanks, to those that reply

I made my own for my hood. The pics are in the sig. I went to Home Depot and bought the gutter gaurd thingy. I cut it to exactly fit opening. Once you've done that, you cut the holes in the hood where there are holes in the gutter guard. Paint the plastic guard whatever color you would like and glue it in there. And to keep bugs out, I put up window screening behind it so it has a net look to it. I can take a close up pic if you would like. Let me know if you need any other help. Hope this helps.

Back whenI was in to third gens, people with Formula hoods would cut out the plastic block of plate on the cowl and do pretty much what these guys are saying, go to home depo, get screen, cut it in the shape you need and paint it. Looks cool as hell, third gen Formulas
