lowering springs=better handling???

I am looking for nice replacement springs that wont lower my car to much (0 to 1inch). I have ground effects and I am affraid that then can scratch. I just need something that will improve my handling not lower my car.

I'm runnin the eiback pro with a Wings west GFX kit and SFC'c - it's pretty low but looks great Just have to be careful at speed bumps and some driveways - most scratches will occur under the gfx and are not visable - most of the noise is the air dam scraping and not the gfx.

But I would not go any lower!

Yes. Cut springs=better handling as well.
You can do your own and get the exact height you want, as well as save a ton of $$$.
Check out StealthStalker's car.

are the sportlines the extremely stiff ones? if so that is what i'm looking for. I have the DMS srpings with about 10,000 miles on them, and they are mush. i replaced the shocks when i replaced the springs, so its not them.

He's right. My cars are all chopped. Everyone thinks lowering springs will handle better coz they are stiffer. Truth is, stock springs are softer at the ends, for comfort. When you cut them, you cut the comfort zone out and you got stuffer springs. Only problem is.....lowering springs will ride nicer than cut springs.

I sold my sportlines. I ran stock shocks so I'm not sure how the ride quality would be with nice shocks. All I can say is, DONT get the sportlines! They are not progressive rate and will beat the sh*t out of you kidneys. They look badass but ride quality is non-existent. I've had intrax springs that had a 2" drop that rode better. I'm thinking of DMS or Hotchkis. No more than a 1.5" for me. Plus I just got my Enkei Win wheels put on so I don’t think they would clear with a 2" drop. I'll give you more details just hit me up on AOL - corypimpn
