Traction Control Button after floor console swap ??
I replaced the useless center console in my 6-speed 95 Z with a center console from a 2000 Z28. When I did - I found that there was no place to install the traction control button on the new console.
I ended up leaving the cigarette lighter panel (with traction control button) intact and then turned it upside-down and installed it behind the drivers side bracket on the new console.
Take a look at this picture to better understand what I'm trying to explain !!

My question is: Has anyone with traction control swapped a newer style floor console into thier car; & if so,..... where did you mount the taction control button ?!?!?!
Thanx in advance !!

The Traction control button goes where that pocket is. I have a 97 TA and I went to the 95 consoul. I had the button and plate that go where that little pocket in front of your shift. Sorry but I throw them out a couple of months ago(I get rid of the traction control) You can get the plate from the dealer. Just get the plate for a 97 or newer camaro with traction control. You loose that little pocket but it looks nicw.
