Townfair Tire doesn't mount tires?

I walk in with a set of used american racing rims that I want swapped over (same size as stock rims) and the guy says ok. He goes in the back looking for a new set of lugs, and comes out saying they can't do it for some reason or another. So now I am pissed becuase I can't have my new rims installed, and I have no clue where to go. Where is a good place for getting rims swapped?

They don't mount tires that weren't purchased there. I went to a local garage and they mounted the tires that I got off Tirerack.com for me

I had the same problem. Bought tires from TireRack.com and tried getting them put on to my wheels at TownFair, and they refused, even offered to pay, as I wasn't looking to get it done for free, but nope. They said I had to buy the tires or wheels from them to get it done. So, I brought them to TireWarehouse in W.Spfld and they did it for $13 a piece. The TownFair guy told me though, next time, that they would price match any prices I could find nationwide (including internet), that they weren't so much looking to make the money, but get a repeat customer.

Atleast I don't feel as stupid now. My friend has a used car dealership, he may be able to do it for free I think.

If not I would like to take you up on that offer naztyz28. Thanks.

By the way, if they were looking for repeat customers, not sending me away would have been a good step. I just want the rims on and to purchase new lugs, I don't care about paying for the service.
