Torque Thrust II

I have recently fallen in love with these wheels and decided when I can afford to upgrade this is what I want.
1st I wanna know what are the pros/cons to bigger rims.
2nd is if anyone has a pic of an LS1 in Black or Navy Blue Metallic with at least 17's on their car so I can get an idea of what they would look like on mine. I know they will look awesome, I just wanna see lots of pics!
Thanks.

the cons: bigger rims = smaller sidewall = less traction at the track. also depending on how big you go maybe a little rougher ride.
the pros: LOOKS
i dont have any pics but if you can afford 18's id go for them over the 17's.

Pros= The torque thrust II's look great
Cons= The finish on them tends to dull quicker then most, and the biggest con I have seen has been that everyone I know that owns a set has to have a &*^load of wieghts added to balance them out.

but like I said, that is a great look. Have you checked out the new Crager SS's? Sweet wheel, better finish, and they balance easier.
Just my two cents

not the car you asked for but here are a pic of mine

http://community.webshots.com/user/streamlinez28

pros- obviously the looks they are sweet i cant take my eyes off of them and neither can alot of other people.
cons- mostly less traction cause of the small side wall but if you care about that then use your old tires at the track. and depending on what prifile you go with the ride might be a bit rougher, i didnt really notice.

P.S. mine are 18x10 all around tires are 275/35/18 frt 295/35/18 rear

Thanks for the input! Appreciate it.

Thegrasshopper24--I may have seen the crager SS's, but I will need to look them up again. Do you have a link?

StreamlineZ28--WOW nice car. It is dropped right? The wheels look awesome and I know someone that was looking for a pic of a black LT1 with these rims, so I will have to let him know. Thanks!

I do eventually want to run my car.

I might be selling my TT2's soon. You can e-mail me and I'll give ya more info. Rims and tires only have about 1,000miles on em. 17x9.5 all around and Firehawk SZ50 tires. Asking $1,500.

OK I looked up the Crager SS wheels. I say I am in love with the TT 2's and already the temptation is starting . I like em.
I am not actually ready to buy my wheels yet, but that is on the list.
I just saved up money for the exhaust which I actually think I will do first rather than the SFC and maybe I will do wheels even before that. If I can't fix the creaking any other way at least the exhaust will drown it out hopefully.
