Hello, today i finally came to it and removed my front license plate. But, there is one big problem, when i removed it... there were these plastic pieces stuck to the paint where the screws would enter. Anyone else have these ugly things? And any ideas on how to get them off?? It looks rediculous. Please anyone reply! Thanks!

 

When I pulled mine off, there was just two holes in the plastic, that was it. Thats pretty strange. Nothing from the bracket itself broke off and was stuck there was it?

 

Nope nothing like that. Its some kind of plastic pieces stuck to the paint. Pretty messed up. Tried everything to get it off. I dont know, i might just get a grill to go over it. What do you think i should do on a Black Z with Red 35th Anniversary Stripes? Silver Grill, billet grill, or black powdercoated Grill? I also have clear corners on my car. Thanks again.

 

i am going with a polished billet for my black 96z go to grille4u.com they have a real cheap one also check out afterthoughtsauto.com they have polished brushed and black

I took mine off and I got a ticket like a week later. Brought it to court *among other things* and the judge whiped out all 3 tickets

 

Get a black powder coated grill.
