Well I simply replaced my grille since mine had a plate frame mounted to it. I used the pull it off method to remove it. And here is how I re-installed it. I thought about removing the front fascia but I didn't have time.

1- Cut off 3, 1.5 inch segments of emissions tubing
2- Put one piece on each upper mounting post on the grille
3- Re-mount grille pushing top in first
4- Reuse the bottom clips

I tested mine to see if it would stay in and it was on tighter this way than with the factory clips.
