Isnt there a problem with tint bubbling up, because of the defroster??? I have seen it before on other car, thats why I have been hesitating on doing the back hatch....

they should do it in 25 minutes if they're doing THREE pieces...i got mine done in one peice there's no reason they couldnt have it just has to be shrunk.....i would have said dont do 5% if the sides wont have tint...i think it would look funny, but if you like the turn out thats cool...

side note: do most people have them tint over the dot matrix? where i went they said they could paint that black, cover it with tint (but it doesnt stick down everywhere), or start it after the dot matrix....i would have had them paint it until i realized they wanted $60 extra...so i said start at the dot matrix (that way maybe i could paint it)...but they tinted over it anyway ...and it doesnt look that good...what do you guys to with that??

btw: is that the way 2otl pipes look clean? i guess my 7 year old pipes are a little dirty

If you go through a quality shop they will use a good film such as 3M. Also you will receive a warranty with the work. Go ahead and get it done man, you should have nothing to worry about.

The really good shops around here give a 3 yr. all the way around. Might try calling around and seeing what's up with some of your local well known shops.

mine is all bubbled up over the dot matrix, they said that would go away in 3-4 days, and it has diminished somewhat so far. If it turns out like crap, ill simply have to take it back and they'll fix it.

pic 2 is a good representation of what the 2otl pipes normally look like. Pic 3 is not because the pipes are over top of snow and reflecting the white, giving them a chrome appearance.

I'm going to get mine done on Saturday. Legal limit in ohio is 50%, but I wanted to go with 35 all around. I didn't want to push my luck. Any opinions on this set up? Anyone have pics of a red camaro with 35%?

BTW, nice clean looking ride Joelius

I might do them eventually, maybe 45% or something, but that would make 3 illegal things on my car... windows, signals, and tailights.

Thanks for the warning. I've heard a few people have had no problems with 30-35%, while a few others have gotten nailed with the fine. Luckily for me I guess, the few I've talked that got at ticket were out of state. It's just 50% just doesn't seem worth it. Guess I'm willing to take my chances too
