tinting hatch tomorrow morning... what % ?

Ok... theres no laws here about rear windows so i can go as dark as i want... however I want a good compromise between darkness and visibility. Also the car is not a daily driver, so im willing to push my limit a little farther. The rear window is on such an angle its already kinda hard to see out of so i wanted some opinions of people.

Basically it would help if you [people with tint on their rear hatch] answered these questions for me:

-What percent tint do you have?
-Are you happy with the appearance?
-How is the visibility? / How much did you sacrifice?
-If you could change the % of the tint on your car, would you go darker, lighter, or stay where you are?

Ill post the after pics sometime tomorrow hopefully

If there is no law on how dark you can go then go as dark as you can go. then when you tint the sides evena bit it makes then seem sthat much darker.

for tint the darker the better!

5% over 25%
looks good
it sux *** at night. only for backing though.
i would go single 5%

ended up covering because i was pressed for time and the guy at the shop said if i was going to keep the rear defrost it would take like 3-4 hours to sweat the tint off.

Hey Doug don't the t-tops have that etching crap on the inside part of the glass ? If so I dont think they would hold any tint. There deep tented already, I think the best you can do is just use the shades.

well its done... they wanted to do it in three strips, so i let them because this place has a very good reputation around here. It came out great, you can barely see the seems. Anyway, I definetly lost some visibility in the back, but i dont care. The interior is so much dimmer now and i love that. My side windows almost look tinted because its so much darker inside the car Im satisfied... ill post pics asap

Glad it worked out nice for ya...did you get it done in 5% or 20% ? Seems like everyone around here does it in one piece, even if you have the rear defroster lines.
