Think this was a good deal?

look at what i picked up for $75 today. original ss slp hood with some damage but definitely fixable!

what do ya think? good deal? i would say i am happy as hell!

A Body shop could easily fix the broken ends from the corner. They would not even need the broken pieces. They would mold it back up with there materials. Paint job to be around $300, so in total $375 is a good deal.

That was a great pick up there, now I only wish I could find a 98-02 SS hood for that cheap...

very true. when i bought my OEM WS6 hood it had some minor damage from standing straight up and they fixed it and it looks fine. it's a very inconspicuous part of the hood anyway and you only see the edge facing the windshield if you are either A. in the car looking for them ,or B. looking right at them while standing by the side mirrors.
