Is there a decent bolt on hood scoop for camaros?

Thought I would turn this into a topic, I looking for an alternitive to spenging close to $1000 for getting a real SS hood, I would like to find a low profile bolt on scoop that looks similar to a SS scoop, Everything I've seen is sits 5" off the hood and even though the prices of $120 are right, the looks aren't. has anybody looked into this???

There's a couple reason's,

1. A hood that cheap poses a risk for bad quailty, just look at some of the horror stories on this board.

2. It's not really $399, after shipping and paint and Installation it's more like $800.

BTW, where can you get a replica for $400, I would consider it if I can't find a decent bolt on.

I think it would much better to spend around $150, Have the ability to install it myself and keep the good quality GM hood that fits perfect on my car now. I found a real nice looking scoop, exact same shape as the SS, except it's about twice the size, it's 14" wide X 4.5 high,it' s a little large but it might look good and it's only $120.

To answer your question... "No there isn't."

And the FFI SS Hood ($325 - $399) is a great hood. Pics in sig (page 1 and 2)

What year is your car... if it is a LS1, then disregard my entire post.
