Is There Anyway To Change The Color Of The Firebird Gauge Cluster?

I have a buddy with a 98 WS6 and he wanted to change the cluster to blue lighting, with the white MacEwen overlay. But I see that you can't just change the bulbs. Is there anyway to change the lighting to blue? Is there anywhere that sells the Indiglo gauge overlay for the 98 TA's? Thanks.

Heres what I did to get them to light up blue...

Take the whole dash apart down to the guage cluster. Take off the plastic cover and loosen that black plastic piece that covers the parts of the guages you weren't meant to see. Wedge inbetween that piece and the rest of the guages one of those slim neon bars or some l.e.d lights., now just tighten those screw back together just enough to hold it there, not to tight otherwise you'll break the neon bar. Wire it up to a switch and put everythign back together. I left out that plastic covering but its your choice. IMO it causes too much of a glare with the neon on and it looks better without it.

Only thing I wish I had done was stop the stock lighting from coming on when you turn on the lights.

Anyone know if you can just cut a certain wire to stop them from coming on, or do you have to go through and take out/cover up each indivual bulb that comes on with the headlights?

Btw just a tip, get the thinnest tube you can find because once back together how ever wide that bar is, is how much of a gap that shows around the seems of the dash. I at first just bought on of those 10" bars from walmart and took the housing off then put it in, when I got everything back together there was a centimeter gap that was very noticeable.

We were looking for the reverse glows but could only find them for the earlier Firebirds and Camaros. Where did you get the reverse glows at? Are the 98+ Camaro and Firebirds the same?
Thanks
