Those two web sites will tell you all you need to know - the second one has the better description of the wiring.
Be sure when you do your wiring you cut the blue wire coming out from under the dash - if you just splice into it then it won't work as expected. I never noticed that on the guide until I reread it for the 50th time.
But you'll need a new ('97+) wiring harness - you can pick up a used one on eBay for reasonable.
