Do you have to modify anything to get them to fit on a 97+ Camaro with the new interior?

 

What happened to speed automotive,when I try to go there now I get a parent directory.Do they have a new site or soemthing.By the way,you car is awesome,love the T/A door panels.

 

speed automotive has changed their name again, i can't remember what their new name is now........something like tennessee auto salvage or something?

97 and newer camaros still have to have the doors modified to fit T/A door panels in them.

 

Where did you get those door panels? I'm looking for some mint ones to replace my scratched up ones.

 

they came from speedautomotive.com but they have changed their name to www.tnautoparts.com

 

The door panels will fit right up at least on a 93 to 96 Camaro. I have Trans Am door panels and have considered installing them in my Camaro but not sure yet. The fit perfectly when just hanging there on the plastic tabs. However, the major issues for me are they don't line up to the exisiting bolt/screw holes. You have to custom fab up spacers and mounts for the three heavy duty screws that actually hold the panel tight to the door. Another issue is the power mirror wiring. It in no way comes close to the "plugging in". I have the schematics but haven't taken the time to figure it out... mainly because I believe shoebox already has and if I do this I'll just ask him how. LOL!
