Question T-top conversion question

I think that i read a post where someone mentioned a extra peice that you could get form a dealer. It was a peice of trim that went along the windsheild on the roof. If anyone knows what I'm talking about I need a name or a part#. Also if anyone has any ideas on other things/parts that will make the job look more professinal (sp?) it would be greatly appericated
Thanks,
Aaron

Re: T-top conversion question

it's a piece with a little flap on it. i didn't get one and i haven't had any problems. no significant wind noise and zero leakage.

get an air cutter, a grinder, and some color match paint from the dealer.

i would also invest in some black gasket sealant for the corners.

You don't happen to know what it's called or have a part# by chance?

Go to your local GM/Chevy dealer and have then get on their computer with the camaro diagram. It shows the two types of windshield trim (ttop and hardtop). I think it cost me like 7 bucks or something. I wanted the roof to appear COMPLETELY stock, that's why I got it. It looks good with it and it all fits together that much nicer. You don't need a part number if you just stop by there they will help you out. Good luck. John.

That's not what we are talking about. Go sell crazy somewhere else, we're all stocked up here! J/J Didn't even know about THAT part. Looks like a lot would be involved in changing that out. John
