hey did u paint the top of you car black or did it come like that because i havent seen any like that. looks like u did a good job on that T-top vert, and for any other person looking to do it to theres here is a site t go to and see how easy it is.http://www.redlineenterprises.com/mtmike/ttops.htm
Man, I still don't have the nutz to cut into my baby. I'm lookin around for someone to do it for me (If they have already done it before to their own car) Even if no one wants to do it for me, I'd still like to have someone there to tell me if I'm doing it right, lol. I'd hate to screw up my baby.
raider5.0, yes i did paint the top of the car. But first i removed all extra glue used some bondo on the corners sanded it all down put a layer of primer then 2 layers of black paint and 3 layers of clear coat. I also went the extra step and sanded down the entire length of the cut(to remove the roof skin) and primered and plainted that blackas well.
Mad Props and Big Cajons for cutting your car up like that. You are gonna be so much happier with the tops when you can take them off. If I can ask what was the price after all is done. Im just wondering cuz isnt if a factory option for like $1,000.
