Man, I still don't have the nutz to cut into my baby. I'm lookin around for someone to do it for me (If they have already done it before to their own car) Even if no one wants to do it for me, I'd still like to have someone there to tell me if I'm doing it right, lol. I'd hate to screw up my baby.

raider5.0, yes i did paint the top of the car. But first i removed all extra glue used some bondo on the corners sanded it all down put a layer of primer then 2 layers of black paint and 3 layers of clear coat. I also went the extra step and sanded down the entire length of the cut(to remove the roof skin) and primered and plainted that blackas well.

I dont know what step i would take i like it because it makes the car look even more factory built but then it looks good all painted the same color.

Mad Props and Big Cajons for cutting your car up like that. You are gonna be so much happier with the tops when you can take them off. If I can ask what was the price after all is done. Im just wondering cuz isnt if a factory option for like $1,000.

Sorry i didnt respond sooner i was on vacation. But the total cost was around 550-600
