Going from what was said in the second thread, it looks like phantomzero will be getting a "test fit" on Sat., August 5. If I were to take a guess, judging by the way that VFN is making this test fitting a public event that is involving a private member's car, it would seem like the work on this hood, if not totally, is at least nearly complete. I don't think they'd wanna take the risk of getting bad publicity on a hood that was only halfway developed.

Regardless of the timing, it's nice to know this hood is being made.

When that comes out ill probably get one. It looks pretty badass.

 

I'm Definatley down for buying this hood in a couple months. Money will be tight for the next couple months, but a nice GP would be nice. Especially for people that come pick up the hood

 

I'm just curious how much we helped get the ball rolling.
Even if we didn't make a difference, I'm going to sit in my own little world and think that we helped push this along.

A GP would be amazing for this hood. I would definitly find the cash to do that.

OMG, I would buy that hood in a second. That is the best looking 93-97 cowl hood I've ever seen.

 

i want it - and i need a replacement this winter....

 

i hope the price is $500 or less. I want it so bad, but i dont want to have to spend a ton of money for a hood.

heh exactly. I think i may join up on that ls1 forum where VFN is a sponser so i can try to get a group purchase going. That hood is definatly badass. My favorite now.
