well I don't really know about the cutting? But I have a buddy who has a shop and he semi installed it in my car for demonstration. Basically you have to apply it very straight if not it looks like crap. He did the guage cluster and I though it was too tacky for me. I believe you can cut it and run a separte power source for each peace or something like that. Hope this helps.

re: streetglow wires

i have a friend who installed streetglow wires in his maxima (ghetto car, i kno), but you're right, they are messy and tend to look overdone and tacky.

if you wanna play around with neon, i'd suggest what my camaro has: a neon underbody kit, one tube under the driver's dash, one tube under the passenger's dash and smaller tubes under the driver and passenger's seats (to illuminate the back). don't go for anything on the ceiling, it usually looks bad no matter how well it's installed, plus you see the actual tube. (i'm a fan of hiding the tubes and just having your car emit a cool glow). if you wanna go the extra mile, i'd suggest putting neon in your heating vents - it looks awesome and is pretty rare. also, toggle, toggle toggle! you never know when you'll run into a cop. metal toggles look awesome, but i use a light-up toggle semi-hidden in my dash so i can tell when my underbody kit's on.

good luck with your neon!
