Step shift boot and t-handle shift **** in a '94?
Alright, so I like the classic look and was wondering if this could be done to my ride. I want to replace the factory shift boot with a classic looking step shift boot (pictured at bottom) and a t-handle shift ****. I was wondering on your opinions on it. Would it look alright on my ride or would it look out of place? Also, what is the thread pattern for our shift *****? I currently have a leather wrapped shift **** with an H on it, which I'm guessing stands for Hurst. Well, thanks.

Oh, and that's the '70-'79 Trans Am 4 Speed shift boot picture above. Could it be modified to work with my ride? I have a 6 speed manual.

Yes, it should be fairly easy. The shift boot just pops off and the shift **** just screws off. But would it look alright with the center console still in place?

No problem. Mine is an A4, i've never liked the way the clunky stock shifter looked so I did a conversion to take a standard shift ball. That looked better but just awkward. So I ordered a shift boot from the vendor on here. Doesn't look to bad, I just need to learn how to sew so I can keep the top part nice and fit to the shaft the ball attachs to.
